Manchester United’s past dream of signing Gareth Bale seems to be ending nowadays. Latest reports suggesting that United have a new target, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side interest on Sancho seems more than just rumors at the moment. The Red Devils are always keen in acquiring talented English players and now there’s another target for them.
The 19-year-old is attracting many attention of top clubs, so United are very eager to take an early charge. However, Dortmund have yet to agree any talks of potential departure of Sancho.
The Bundesliga outfit want to keep their young starlet for at least another year, before parting ways. Die Borussen have struggle to keep their star players sticking around at the club, so they’re not going to force things on the English international either.
United’s strong focus on getting Sancho also means that their chase for Gareth Bale is over. The Welshman is close to 30 now and has a bad injury history recently, not to mention huge wages as well.
Considering many of those aspects, ending their long dream of getting Bale could be a wise decision for Man United. Although, one will never know whether Sancho can make a better instant impact at United instead of the Wales international.
