Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, has been attracting interest from many top teams, especially in Premier League. However, it seems that I Partenopei is not keen on letting their star player leave.
The Italian club’s stance on keeping the defender comes from their manager, Carlo Ancelotti. The renown tactician insist that Koulibaly is worth at least 150 million Euro, but not transferable.
“The best center back in the world? Yes and he has more room for improvement. He’s worth 150 million Euro and he is not- transferable,” Ancelotti explained.
That statement certainly not a positive signs for Manchester United or Chelsea. However, unlikely to stop them from making any kind of attempts in signing the 27-year-old.
Both of those Premier League teams are very keen on improving their back line and believe that Koulibaly is the right man for them. Seeing Ancelotti’s response to interest on the center back, it won’t be easy for United and The Blues in fulfilling their dream.
The two teams’ hope in prizing up Koulibaly might be down to his personal preference. Having unpleasant racism abuse more than once in Serie A, the big defender could consider a different atmosphere next summer.
If the player himself voicing out willingness to move, Napoli might not have too much power in keeping him.
