Still working to lift their transfer ban from FIFA doesn’t stop Chelsea from planning their summer market. Reports are suggesting that The Blues are targeting potential replacement for Eden Hazard.
Knowing there’s a strong possibility that Hazard will be leaving next summer. The Blues are already working hard in search for replacement which lead them to Philippe Coutinho.
The Barcelona attacking midfielder hasn’t been at his best so far at Camp Nou. Moreover, Barca reportedly won’t have problems in selling if they can get a good price for the Brazilian.
Coutinho’s inconsistency pretty much puts his situation slightly difficult at Blaugrana. The former Liverpool man is not starting regularly for them with Ousmane Dembele competing for the same spot.
Barca themselves reportedly still looking for other targets in the summer and could use extra funds from transfer. If The Blues are offering something that Blaugrana’s difficult to refuse, the Spanish giant won’t hesitate to let Coutinho leave.
However, before thinking about the Brazilian, they will first see what will Hazard do nexts summer. The Belgium international has never hide his dream of playing for Real Madrid.
Aside from that, The Blues must also sort out their transfer ban situation before planning on making any signing. If FIFA’s decision can’t be upheld this summer, Sarri’s side can only sell players but can’t buy anyone.
