Manchester City continue their planning to improve themselves next summer by targeting Bruno Fernandes. Reports from A Bola claiming that Pep Guardiola’s side are ready to sign the player.
Fernandes has been putting on an impressive performances this season, which attracted many top teams. Aside from City there’s also interest from the likes of AC Milan and Manchester United.
Seeing the amount of competition, City apparently prepare to close things out as soon as possible. The Premier League side are ready to start negotiation with Fernandes’ club, Sporting.
Fernandes reportedly has a 100 million Euro clause, but his current team will be willing to sell at slightly cheaper prize. However, further agreement must happen first between both sides to agree on the prize.
The Portuguese international so far this season, scoring 28 goals and producing 16 assists in all competition. That excellent production is what strongly attract Man City and other teams on his talent.
Although Guardiola’s side already have many top attacking minded midfield players, but adding another talent can only help them. Fernandes himself is still 24-year-old, still quite young and have many room for improvements.
It remain to be seen on whether Man City will really push hard in signing the former Sampdoria player. Knowing that the Premier League champion also have other targets they have in mind.
