Manchester City are looking to improve their squad further more for net season and they’re working on some new signings. According to reports, one of their target for next summer is Juventus’ Joao Cancelo.
The Portuguese full back has been considered as one of the best in the world, offensively. Moreover, he can play in both right or left position equally well, something that’s many teams keen on having.
Although he has only arrived at Juve last summer, but the former Valencia man is someone who they have no problem of selling. Notably, the price should meet with what they are valuing him at, which is around 60 million Euro.
Still only 24-year-old, Cancelo is seen as the perfect match for Pep Guardiola’s attacking style of football. His strong offensive attributes doesn’t always suits well with Juve’s setup last season.
However, it remain to be seen on whether Juve are still keen on selling the versatile full back now. Knowing that they are looking for a new tactician, who might find him useful for them.
Nevertheless, Juve’s market are often controlled by their management team more than the coach. That’s why if their directors are okay with selling Cancelo, he won’t be kept by the Turin giant.
